Wedding "somethings"

I'm really excited that my wedding is 9 days away.

Last night, my mom and I went through her jewelry box to figure out all my "somethings" for the wedding. It was such a fun experience learning about where each trinket come from. I want her to pull out her wedding photos so we can do that together too.

Here are my "somethings" for the big days:

Something old: my grandmother's wedding band worn on my right hand
Something new: my wedding dress
Something borrowed: my mom's pearls
Something blue: my crazy blue shoes!

I think that this day will be full of beauty, love, and happiness. I can't wait!

dreams & coffee

Today I'm in love with cozies.

I think this a fantastic and eco friendly idea! Instead of wasting all those paper cozies for my coffee I may invest in a beautiful hand made one. Here are some faves:

Love this colors on this one

this simplicity of this one is what makes me smile
it would probably match one of my sweaters

hehe...

I will have to invest in one of these cuties soon.

I am working towards my goal of becoming a photographer slowly but surely. I've recruited a few clients to take some practice shots, I found some courses that I plan to take to bring my skills to the next level, and most of all I am so motivated to do this. I can't be stuck in a job I don't love my whole life. I am so lucky to have a fiance that truly believes in me and supports what I want to do. Well, fiance will be husband in 28 days.

Good morning!

HA!

I love this cool weather. I get to wear scarves, cardigans, and I ordered a few pairs of boots to get me through the winter. I'm going to miss this change of weather down south.

I'm exactly a month out until my wedding and feel surprisingly relaxed and ready. Everything is done and I think I've barely been a bridezilla (if at all!) this whole time. I'm learning how to cook new things right now so that I can be the best wife I can be. I've also found some wonderful ideas for a future career that I can really enjoy.

There's a lot of good going on right now and entering the hectic time of year (holiday season) I'm happy to be focused on the now and enjoying every moment.

Today I'm dreaming about...

have a beautiful day xo

I smell fall.

Hiiiii.

It could be the fall candles I had lit all day or the fact I cooked with pumpkin pie spice, but fall is definitely in the air. This very well may be my last real fall before I move down south so I want to enjoy it.

Some things I'd like to enjoy this fall:

Baking an apple pie with apples I picked
Carve pumpkins
Plant mums
Haunted hayride
Warm apple cider
Playing in leaves
and paint something that makes me think of fall

Such an inspiring season. xo.
